RBA has won awards for technology innovations.
RBA International and West Coast Bank were selected as the second place finalist for the Oscards 2006 award in the Technologies category. The Oscards are sponsored by France's Publi-News, and are held annually to honor the world's most innovative credit, debit, and stored-value cards. Banking experts from France, Singapore, Belgium, and the US voted to decide who would be given this award.
RBA's rPOS(TM) technology makes transactions faster; more secure, and protects both the merchant and the consumer. A 2 minute video clip on the technology can be downloaded here. This piece highlights the different mobile banking features available, including money transfer via the cell phone, text message notification of account activity, and the ability to lock your account when it is not in use.

Fox 12 Oregon did this interview and product demonstration in response to several newspots highlighting the rise in debit fraud, identity theft, and skimming, and the effects on our community.
